Ada, Issue 3, Feminist Science Fiction

Hi, everyone. In addition to teaching and doing my other work at the university, over the past three years I’ve been working on an online platform for feminist publishing and research. It started as a goofy idea some of us had — to seize the means of production and publish our own work in an open access, open source environment, with a commitment to non-blind peer review (which means that reviewers would be known to authors and that their comments would be visible to everyone in our community). Fembot was the result. Our peer-reviewed journal, Ada: A Journal of Gender, New Media, and Technology launched its third issue today — on feminist science fiction. There are some amazing articles and interviews in it, so I thought I’d share the link with you.
