This post, by science fiction author (see my post on Redshirts elsewhere on this blog) and blogger John Scalzi, provoked a great deal of controversy. I think it’s brilliant, as is Lisa Nakamura’s take on in it “Queer Female of Color: The Highest Difficult Setting There is.”
